Introduction

For nearly a decade, MEAN WELL’s 4" x 2" PCB-type power supplies — such as the EPP-150/200 and RPS-200 series — have been trusted worldwide, with millions of units sold. These models have earned a strong reputation for reliability and performance in diverse applications.

As end devices continue to evolve toward miniaturization, higher density, and wider thermal tolerance, the demand for thinner, more powerful, and more efficient power supplies is rapidly increasing. To meet this market shift, MEAN WELL proudly introduces the new-generation LOP Series — a line of ultra-low-profile PCB-type power supplies designed to deliver superior performance and higher power density.

The first release, the LOP-200/300 Series, features 200W and 300W models in a compact 4" x 2" footprint with only 1" in height. Following this, the LOP-400/500/600 Series (5" x 3", 400W–600W) will soon be launched, continuing the LOP family’s innovation in high-density power design.

Compared to the existing EPP-150/200 and RPS-200 series, the LOP-200/300 offers several key upgrades:

Slimmer profile (1” height)
Extended output voltage range (12–54V)
Higher output power up to 300W
150% peak load capacity for 3 seconds
Wider operating temperature (-40°C to +80°C)
Compliance with OVC III and multiple global safety standards
