Overview

ODLC-45A-1400 is the model of this series: rated current 1400mA, rated power 44.8W, typical efficiency 85%.

ODLC-45 series is a 45W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant current mode output with flicker free design.ODLC-45 operates from 90~295VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 350mA and 1400mA. Thanks to the efficiency up to 86%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -20℃~+85℃ case temperature under free convection. The design of plastic housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit indoor wet applications. ODLC-45 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for lighting system.

Test conditions and notes10

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
3. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
4. Length of set up time is measured at cold first start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
5. Aux. 12V will be damaged with short circuit; It will not be available when output voltage is not in constant current region or output no load condition.
6. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again.
7. The DALI version driver does not support the bit 1: Lamp failure in the Command 144 Query status of the DALI standard.
8. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Can I use the ODLC-45A-1400 with a 1400mA LED downlight engine?

Yes, if the downlight is designed for constant current operation at 1400mA. The LED load also needs to fall within the 19-32V constant current range and remain within the 44.8W rating.

Is this driver a match for compact COB LED arrays?

It is a practical choice for compact COB or small LED arrays that require 1400mA constant current. Because the output range is 19-32V, it is better suited to lower-voltage constant current arrays than higher-voltage strings.

Can the ODLC-45A-1400 be used for signage light engines?

It can be used for signage light engines that are specified as 1400mA constant current loads. It is not the right choice for constant voltage signage modules, because this model regulates current rather than providing a fixed DC voltage output for the LED load.
