Overview

LPF-25D-24 is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 1.05A, rated power 25.2W, typical efficiency 85.5%.

LPF-25D series is a 25W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant current output. LPF-25D operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the efficiency up to 86%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -35℃ ~ +70℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations. LPF-25D is equipped with the 3 in 1 dimming function so as to provide the design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
  3. 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  4. 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  5. 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
  6. 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.

Can I use the LPF-25D-24 for 24V LED strip lighting?

Only if the strip is a constant-current load. The LPF-25D-24 works in constant current mode, delivering 1.05A within a 13.2–24V constant current region (25.2W max), so it is not a constant-voltage 24V strip supply. Check that your LED load is rated for 1.05A before deciding on it.

Is the LPF-25D-24 suitable for 24V signage or light box lighting?

Yes, if the sign or light box uses constant-current LEDs rated for 1.05A within 13.2–24V and up to 25.2W. The IP67 rating supports installations where the driver needs protection against dust and water. Verify the lighting system is specified for constant-current drive.

Can this driver be used for dimmable 24V accent or architectural lighting?

Yes, for constant-current accent or architectural lighting rated for 1.05A within 13.2–24V and 25.2W. This model includes built-in 3 in 1 dimming (1–10VDC, 10V PWM or resistance), which is useful where adjustable output is needed. Constant-voltage 24V products are not a match.

How much 24V LED strip can the LPF-25D-24 power?

It supplies up to 25.2W at a constant 1.05A within a 13.2–24V constant current region. It is not sized with the W/m formula used for constant-voltage strips; the load must be rated for 1.05A with an operating voltage within 13.2–24V.

Can the LPF-25D-24 be used outdoors?

Yes. It is IP67 rated and specified for a case temperature (Tcase) of -35°C to +70°C, with load derating at higher temperatures per the output load vs temperature curve, so it suits outdoor and wet environments. The connected lighting also needs to be rated appropriately for the same conditions.
