HEP-150-36A is the 36V output model of this series: rated current 4.2A, rated power 151.2W, typical efficiency 93.5%.

HEP-150 is a 150W industrial AC/DC power supply featuring the outstanding capability to operate under highly humid, dusty, oily, and high-vibration harsh environment. The entire series is housed with the aluminum case and fully potted with heat-conducted silicone. Thanks to state-of-the-art design, the working efficiency is up to 94%, enabling HEP-150 perfectly work between -55℃ and +70℃ under free air convection.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  3. 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  4. 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltages. Please check the static characteristics for more details.

Can I use the HEP-150-36A for a 36V machine-control or panel-power application?

Yes, if the load is designed for 36V DC constant voltage. The unit provides up to 4.2A and 151.2W, so the total connected demand needs to remain within those figures.

Is the HEP-150-36A a good match for 36V industrial monitoring or communications hardware?

It can support monitoring or communications equipment that requires 36V constant-voltage input and draws no more than 4.2A. The wide 90-264VAC input (277VAC operational) also helps in facilities with different AC supply conditions.

Can this model be used for 36V automation peripherals in vibration-prone equipment?

It is intended for harsh environments and is specified to withstand 10G vibration. As long as the peripherals need 36V constant voltage and stay under 151.2W, it is a suitable choice.

Is the HEP-150-36A suitable for outdoor use?

This version is rated IP65 Water-Resistant, so it is suited to indoor or outdoor locations where protection against dust and water jets is needed. Its operating temperature range is -55°C to +70°C, but it does not carry the IP68 rating of the non-A HEP-150-36.
