The N78xx-2 series is pin-to-pin compatible with traditional TO-220-packaged 78xx and 79xx linear regulators, making it an easy drop-in replacement. With efficiency reaching up to 96%, these modules eliminate the need for external heatsinks, significantly easing thermal management for engineers. This makes them an excellent choice for a wide range of applications including electronic instruments, embedded power systems, and distributed circuit architectures.
