Test conditions and notes9
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25β of ambient temperature.
- 2. Current ripple is measured 60%~100% of maximum voltage under rated power delivery.
- 3. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
- 4. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. (as available on https://www.meanwell.com//Upload/PDF/EMI_statement_en.pdf)
- 5. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 6. Suitable for indoor use or outdoor use without direct sunlight exposure. Please avoid immerse in the water over 30 minute.
- 7. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5β/1000m with fanless models and of 5β/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Can I use the LPC-20-350 for a small LED downlight?
This driver can fit a small LED downlight if the LED engine is designed for constant current operation at 350mA and its total forward voltage stays within 9-48V. With a 16.8W rating, it is intended for lower-power LED loads. It should not be used where the fixture expects a constant voltage supply.
Is the LPC-20-350 a good match for compact signage modules?
It can be a match for compact signage modules when the module string requires 350mA constant current and falls inside the 9-48V CC range. Because this is a constant current driver, it is for current-driven LED modules rather than constant voltage signage products. The 16.8W power level suits smaller assemblies.
Can this driver power a small LED array in a display or indicator assembly?
Yes, if the LED array is specified for 350mA constant current and the total forward voltage is between 9V and 48V. The relatively low 16.8W output makes it better suited to small LED arrays than larger lighting loads. It is not the right choice for arrays designed around fixed constant voltage input.
How do I size LED compatibility for the LPC-20-350?
The driver must be matched to a 350mA constant current LED load with a total forward voltage in the 9-48V range. The number of LEDs depends on the forward voltage of each LED, so there is no single fixed LED count for this model. Compatibility should be checked against the full load voltage, not just wattage alone.
How does the LPC-20-350 compare with the LPC-20-700 and other low-power LPC drivers?
The LPC-20-350 is 350mA with a 9-48V CC range and 16.8W, while the LPC-20-700 is 700mA with a 9-30V range and 21W. Their over voltage protection points also differ (50.4-60V vs 31.5-40.5V), and the CSA C22.2 No. 207-M89 / 223-M91 listings apply to the LPC-20-700 but not the LPC-20-350. Other LPC series are not covered by this datasheet.
Can the LPC-20-350 be used in damp or exposed environments?
It is fully encapsulated to IP67 level and is suitable for indoor use or outdoor use without direct sunlight exposure; avoid immersing it in water for over 30 minutes. It is rated for -30Β°C to +70Β°C operation, with load derating at higher ambient temperatures per the derating curve. Refer to the user manual for waterproof installation cautions.
