Overview

HLG-100H-36A is the 36V output model of this series: rated current 2.65A, rated power 95.4W, typical efficiency 93%. Type A: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer (IP65).

HLG-100H series is a 100W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-100H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 20V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-100H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  3. 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-100H-36A for indoor 36V LED troffer or panel light installations?

Yes. The HLG-100H-36A delivers 36V at up to 2.65A (95.4W rated power) with an adjustable output, letting you fine-tune voltage and current to match your troffer or panel LED modules. The HLG-100H series' IP65/IP67 metal housing is more than adequate for indoor ceiling spaces or dry commercial interiors.

Is the HLG-100H-36A suitable for powering adjustable 36V LED grow lights?

It can power 36V LED grow light arrays up to 95.4W. The built-in potentiometer lets you adjust output to tune light intensity for different growth stages without needing an external dimmer. The wide 90-305VAC input handles various facility power supplies.

How many meters of 36V LED strip can the HLG-100H-36A handle?

At 95.4W rated output and 36V, divide 95.4 by your strip's wattage per meter. A 36V strip rated at 7W/m would allow approximately 13.6 meters (95.4W / 7W per meter). A higher-power strip at 20W/m would limit you to about 4.7 meters. Check your strip's rated power per meter and stay within 95.4W.

Is the HLG-100H-36A protected enough for a semi-outdoor application like a parking garage?

The series' IP65/IP67 metal-housing design is intended for indoor and outdoor applications, which is generally suitable for covered parking garages. For areas with direct water exposure such as open-air car parks or wash-down zones, confirm the exact IP rating of this A-type first.
