Overview

HLG-120H-48B is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 2.5A, rated power 120W, typical efficiency 93.5%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10VDC, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).

HLG-120H series is a 120W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-120H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-120H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  2. 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  3. 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-120H-48B with a dimmer for outdoor 48V LED strip installations?

Yes. The HLG-120H-48B accepts 1-10V and PWM dimming signals and carries an IP67 waterproof rating, making it ideal for outdoor 48V LED strip runs where you also need brightness control. It can be mounted in exposed locations without a secondary enclosure.

Is the HLG-120H-48B suitable for dimmable 48V LED landscape or garden lighting?

Yes. At 120W and 48V with IP67 waterproof protection, it can power 48V landscape fixtures outdoors and be dimmed via a 1-10V signal for different scene settings. Its -40°C to +80°C case temperature (Tcase) rating handles seasonal temperature extremes.

Can I pair with the HLG-120H-48B to a building management system for scheduled dimming?

Yes, if the system provides a 1-10VDC, 10V PWM, or resistance dimming output. This allows scheduled brightness changes, such as reducing sign or facade lighting intensity during late-night hours, while the IP67 rating permits outdoor placement.

How many meters of 48V LED strip can the HLG-120H-48B power?

The HLG-120H-48B supplies up to 120W at 48V. If your 48V strip draws 8W/m, you could run up to 15 meters (120W / 8W per meter = 15m). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and ensure the total load stays at or below 120W.

Can the HLG-120H-48B handle fully exposed outdoor conditions year-round?
