Overview

HVG-100-24A is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 4A, rated power 96W, typical efficiency 91%. Type A: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer (IP65).

HVG-100 series is a 100W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HVG-100 operates from 180~528 VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 15V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HVG-100 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 347VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. 8. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >50,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 80℃ or less.

Can I use the HVG-100-24A for 24V LED strip lighting in commercial spaces?

Yes, if the 24V load stays within 96W and 4A. It is intended for 24V lighting products operating within a 12-24V constant current range, so the connected load needs to match that specification.

Is this driver suitable for 24V sign or display lighting?

It can be used for 24V sign and display lighting loads up to 96W and 4A. The series' IP65/IP67 approval also helps in locations where the driver may be exposed to dust or water spray.

Can the HVG-100-24A power 24V architectural accent lighting?

It is suitable for 24V accent lighting systems that fit within the driver's 96W maximum output and 4A current rating. With a case temperature (Tcase) rating of -40°C to +90°C, it is built for a wide range of indoor and semi-exposed lighting environments.
