Overview

HVG-150-20A is the 20V output model of this series: rated current 7.5A, rated power 150W, typical efficiency 90.5%. Type A: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer (IP65).

HVG-150 series is a 150W AC/DC LED power supply featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HVG-150 operates from 180~528 VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91.5%, with the fanless design, the series is able to operate from -40℃ through as high as +85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HVG-150 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 347VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HVG-150-20A for a 20V LED strip lighting project?

Yes, if your strip system is designed for 20V and the total load does not exceed 150W. At 20V, that corresponds to 7.5A maximum, and you should check your strip rated power per meter before sizing the run.

Is this driver suitable for 20V signage or lightbox lighting?

It can be used for 20V signage and lightbox lighting loads that stay within 150W and 7.5A. The IP65 water-resistant housing also supports use in outdoor sign environments where weather protection is needed.

Can the HVG-150-20A be used in hot or cold outdoor lighting conditions?
