Test conditions and notes10
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 3. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 4. Length of set up time is measured at cold first start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time or set up failure
- 5. Aux. 12V will be damaged with short circuit; It will not be available when output voltage is not in constant current region or output no load condition.
- 6. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again.
- 7. The DALI version driver does not support the bit 1: Lamp failure in the Command 144 Query status of the DALI standard.
- 8. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).
- 9. For any application note and IP water proof function installation caution, please refer our user manual before using. https://www.meanwell.com/Upload/PDF/LED_EN.pdf
- 10. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED power supply can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.

FAQ
Can I use the ODLC-65A-1750 for LED downlights that require higher drive current?
Yes, this model is intended for constant current LED loads at 1750mA. It fits LED downlights when the fixture is specified for 1750mA and the total LED forward voltage stays within the 27-36V constant current range. It should not be used in place of a constant voltage power supply.
Is the ODLC-65A-1750 suitable for signage modules with a lower forward-voltage LED string?
It can be suitable for signage modules when the LED assembly is designed for 1750mA constant current and the total forward voltage is within 27-36V. This lower voltage window makes it better matched to lower-forward-voltage LED assemblies than higher-voltage constant current models in the same series. The actual number of LEDs depends on the forward voltage of each LED.
Can this driver run a dense small LED array at 1750mA?
Yes, if the small LED array is specified for 1750mA constant current and its total forward voltage falls inside the 27-36V range. With 63W output power, it is aimed at higher-current constant current LED loads rather than constant voltage strips or modules. Load matching should be based on current and total forward voltage together.
What should I check before pairing LEDs with the ODLC-65A-1750?
Make sure the LED load is a constant current load rated for 1750mA. Its total forward voltage must remain within the driver's 27-36V CC output range, and the number of LEDs will vary based on each LED's forward voltage. If the product expects constant voltage output, this is the wrong type of driver.
Is the ODLC-65A-1750 suitable for outdoor or high-temperature LED applications?
Yes, the IP67 rating supports use in exposed environments where dust and water resistance matter. Its operating temperature range is Tcase -20°C to +85°C, which gives it a broad working window for demanding LED applications. Final suitability still depends on the LED load matching the 1750mA, 27-36V constant current output.
