Overview

XLG-25-AB is the model of this series: rated power 90VAC ~ 305VAC 25W, typical efficiency 88%.

XLG-25 series is a 25W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant power mode output. XLG-25 operates from 90~305VAC. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 88%, The entire series is able to operate between -40℃~85℃ wide case temperature range with air convection. The design of metal housing and Ip67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications.XLG-25 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.XLG-25 series comply with the latest version of IEC61347/GB/T19510.1 and UL8750 international safety regulations. The output and dimming circuit are also completely in accordance with the new regulations with isolation to ensure the safety of both user and luminaire system during installation.

Can I dim the XLG-25-AB from a wall dimmer or smart lighting controller?

Yes. The AB suffix indicates a built-in dimming interface that accepts 0-10V or PWM control signals from compatible dimming systems. This enables the driver to work with standard wall dimmers, occupancy-based controllers, or smart home lighting platforms.

Is the XLG-25-AB suitable for small outdoor accent or landscape fixtures?

Yes. The IP67 waterproof rating allows the driver to be installed in outdoor luminaires exposed to rain or moisture. Its compact size (105 × 63 × 30 mm) and 0.41 kg weight make it easy to fit inside small pathway lights, garden spotlights, or step fixtures.

What is the maximum LED strip length the XLG-25-AB can drive?

The driver delivers up to 25W. Divide 25W by your strip's power per meter to get the maximum length — for example, a 5 W/m strip supports up to 5 m (25 ÷ 5). Check your specific strip's rated wattage per meter and leave a 20% headroom margin.

Can I use the XLG-25-AB to power a dimmable LED spotlight in a bathroom or wet-zone fixture?

Yes. The IP67 rating makes the driver protected against water ingress, suitable for damp or wet-rated bathroom zones and similar applications. The 22–54V CC output range accommodates many single LED module spotlight arrays.

Does the XLG-25-AB work on 230V European or 277V US commercial circuits?

Yes. The 90–305VAC input range covers 230V European residential mains, 277V US commercial circuits, and standard 120V supplies. No transformer or manual voltage switching is required.

How does the XLG-25-AB differ from the XLG-25-A?

Both are 25W, 0.7A constant-current drivers with a 22–54V CC range and IP67 rating in the same compact housing. The XLG-25-AB includes a 3-in-1 dimming control input (0-10V, PWM, or resistance); the XLG-25-A provides only manual potentiometer adjustment. Select the AB model when external dimming is needed.
