FAQ

What is the Vimar Plana Plate 8M Technopolymer Metallized Blue used for?

This model is a cover plate for Vimar Plana switch layouts in an 8-module format. It is intended for projects that need a finished front plate with a clean, essential appearance in a metallized blue colour. It is suited to commercial or residential interiors using the Plana design line.

Is this plate compatible with the Vimar Plana series?

Yes. Based on the product name and category data, this plate is for the Vimar Plana series and specifically for an 8M configuration. Buyers should match it to the same Plana range and the required 8-module layout when selecting cover plates.

What material and finish does this cover plate have?

This version is made from technopolymer and comes in a metallized blue finish. The product description positions the material as high performance with an essential appearance. For this specific model, the distinguishing visual detail is the blue metallized look.

How does this blue version compare with other Vimar Plana plate options?

This model is the metallized blue option within the Plana technopolymer plate range. The description notes that the material is offered in multiple colour variants, so the main difference here is the finish and appearance rather than a different product type. It is a practical choice when the project calls for a more distinctive colour accent than standard neutral plates.

Is this a good choice for visible interior environments where appearance matters?

Yes. The product is positioned around an essential appearance combined with high-performance technopolymer, which makes it suitable for visible finished spaces. Its metallized blue finish is better suited to interiors where the plate is intended to contribute to the overall design rather than disappear into the background.

What are the warranty period and product weight for this model?

This cover plate has a stated warranty period of 3 years. Its listed weight is 0.092 kg, which can be useful for estimating handling, packaging, or bulk order totals. These values apply to the Vimar Plana Plate 8M Technopolymer Metallized Blue model shown here.
