Building on the success of MEAN WELL’s 1" x 1" DC-DC converters in 6W, 15W, 20W, and 30W configurations, we are excited to introduce the new SKMW40 (single output) and DKMW40 (dual output) series to meet growing demand for higher power solutions in compact spaces.
Designed with a 4:1 ultra-wide input voltage range (9–36Vdc / 18–75Vdc), these 40W converters offer exceptional flexibility for a wide range of applications. The standard 1" x 1" industrial pinout, combined with their compact footprint, makes them ideal for use in tight spaces such as terminal equipment, telecom systems, industrial automation, distributed power architectures, and transportation electronics.
The SKMW40 / DKMW40 series is engineered to perform in harsh environments, supporting a wide operating temperature from -40°C to +80°C, and offering 2000Vdc input-to-output isolation for maximum safety. With internal silicone gel potting, these modules benefit from enhanced heat dissipation, vibration resistance, and protection against dust and moisture—ensuring longer operational lifespans.
