HLG-240H-24A is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 10A, rated power 240W, typical efficiency 92.5%.

HLG-240H series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-240H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-240H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the HLG-240H-24A for 24V LED cove lighting where I need to fine-tune brightness?

Yes. The HLG-240H-24A delivers 240W at 24V with a built-in potentiometer that lets you adjust the output voltage (22.4-25.6V) and current (5-10A). This is useful for cove lighting where you want to trim the drive level to match a specific LED strip without needing an external dimmer.

Is the HLG-240H-24A suitable for 24V LED grow lighting in a greenhouse?

Yes. At 240W and 24V, it can power substantial 24V grow light panels. The adjustable output lets you vary intensity to match plant growth stages. The IP65 water-resistant rating handles the humidity and occasional splashing found in greenhouse environments. For fully wet conditions, an IP67 model may be preferred.

How many meters of 24V LED strip can the HLG-240H-24A drive?

Divide 240W by your strip's rated wattage per meter. For instance, a 24V strip rated at 14.4W/m would allow about 16.6 meters (240W / 14.4W per meter = 16.67m). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 240W.

Can the HLG-240H-24A be used outdoors in a location that gets direct rain?

The HLG-240H-24A carries an IP65 water-resistant rating, which protects against low-pressure water jets and dust. It is suitable for covered or semi-sheltered outdoor locations but not rated for submersion. For fully exposed installations, consider the IP67-rated HLG-240H-24 or HLG-240H-24B.

What is the difference between the HLG-240H-24A and the HLG-240H-24AB?

Both share the same 240W / 24V / 10A output and IP65 water-resistant rating. The HLG-240H-24A provides output voltage/current adjustment via a built-in potentiometer. The HLG-240H-24AB adds a 1-10V/PWM dimming input on top of that adjustment. Choose the -24AB if you need both manual trimming and external dimming control.
