HLG-240H-24B is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 10A, rated power 240W, typical efficiency 92.5%.

HLG-240H series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-240H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-240H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the HLG-240H-24B for outdoor 24V LED strip lighting with dimming control?

Yes. The HLG-240H-24B delivers 240W at 24V with a built-in dimming input (1-10V/PWM), making it well suited for dimmable outdoor LED strip runs. Its IP67 waterproof rating means it can be mounted in fully exposed locations including rain and temporary submersion.

Is the HLG-240H-24B suitable for powering dimmable 24V LED signage?

Yes. With 240W at 24V (10A) and a dimming input, it can drive channel letters, light boxes, or backlit sign panels while allowing brightness adjustment via an external 1-10V or PWM dimming signal. The IP67 rating and metal housing suit outdoor sign installations.

Can the HLG-240H-24B power 24V LED cove or accent lighting in a commercial space?

How many meters of 24V LED strip can the HLG-240H-24B drive?

Divide 240W by your strip's power consumption per meter. For example, a strip rated at 14.4W/m would allow about 16.6 meters (240W / 14.4W per meter = 16.67m). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep the total load at or below 240W.

Can the HLG-240H-24B be installed outdoors in freezing or extreme heat conditions?

Yes. It is rated for a case temperature (Tcase) of -40°C to +90°C, with output derating at high temperatures per the sheet's load vs temperature curve. The IP67 waterproof rating and metal housing protect against rain, dust, and temporary water submersion.

What are the differences between the HLG-240H-24, 24A, 24AB, 24B, and 24C variants?

All share 240W / 24V / 10A core specs. The base HLG-240H-24 has fixed output and IP67. The -24A adds output voltage/current adjustment via potentiometer (IP65). The -24AB adds both adjustment and dimming input (IP65). The -24B provides dimming input only and retains IP67. The -24C has potentiometer adjustment with terminal-block input/output connections in a 251 mm long case.
