ELG-150-C1750AB is the model of this series: rated current 1750mA, typical efficiency 91%.
ELG-150-C series is a 150W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant current mode and high voltage output. ELG-150-C operates from 100~360VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 500mA and 2100mA. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 92%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃~+85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-150-C is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE". For DA-Type, Constant Current region is 60%~100% of maximum voltage under rated power delivery.
- 3. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 4. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 5. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 6. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >50,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.

Can the ELG-150-C1750AB drive LED downlights in a covered outdoor walkway?

Yes. The constant current output at 1750mA with a 43–86V compliance range accommodates series strings of LED sign modules. The IP65 enclosure handles typical outdoor sign cabinet environments where the driver is protected from immersion.
How many LEDs can I run in series with the ELG-150-C1750AB?
The CC voltage compliance range is 43–86V. The number of LEDs per string depends on each LED's forward voltage at 1750mA—dividing the compliance range by your LED's Vf gives the minimum and maximum string depth. Do not target a fixed LED count without knowing the actual Vf of your chosen LED at the operating current.
What dimming and adjustment options does the ELG-150-C1750AB offer compared to other C1750 variants?
The AB suffix means the ELG-150-C1750AB includes both a built-in output adjustment potentiometer and 3-in-1 dimming (10V analog, PWM, and resistance). The base ELG-150-C1750 has neither; the A adds only the potentiometer; the B adds only 3-in-1 dimming; and the DA adds DALI. All variants share the same 1750mA / 150.5W output.
Can the ELG-150-C1750AB operate in freezing ambient conditions?
Yes. The case temperature (Tcase) rating extends down to -40°C, making it suitable for cold-climate outdoor installations or refrigerated display lighting where ambient temperatures drop well below freezing. At the upper end, the maximum case temperature is +90°C, and output must be derated at higher ambient temperatures.
