FAQ

What type of applications is the ILLUMAX LED Strip ECO+ Series IP68 suited for?

This LED strip is designed for projects that need a waterproof linear lighting solution, as it carries an IP68 rating. It can suit both interior and exterior lighting applications where a sealed strip format is preferred. The ECO+ Series format also makes it relevant for general-purpose B2B lighting use rather than a highly specialized niche application.

What are the main specifications of this LED strip family?

Across the family, the strip is rated at 9.6W per metre and runs on 24V DC input. It uses 120 LEDs per metre, has a 120 degree beam angle, and can be cut at 50mm intervals. The product description also lists a 50,000-hour lifetime and mounting clips included in the package.

What is the difference between the available variants in this parent product family?

The main differences between the variants are colour temperature and light output. The family includes 3000K warm white at 790 lumens, 4000K neutral white at 810 lumens, and 6000K cool white at 850 lumens. Power rating, driver status, dimming option, and warranty remain the same across the listed variants.

Is a driver included with this LED strip?

No, the driver is not included with this product family. The strip is specified for 24V DC input, so driver selection needs to match that requirement. This parent family listing only confirms that the driver is optional and not supplied in the pack.

Can this LED strip be dimmed?

Yes, this family is listed as dimmable with optional dimming control. That means dimming capability is available, but the required control gear is not indicated as included with the strip itself. The dimming feature applies across the parent product family shown here.

Is this LED strip appropriate for wet or outdoor environments?

Yes, the strip is identified as waterproof with an IP68 rating, which makes it suitable for environments where strong protection against water ingress is required. It is positioned within outdoor and exterior lighting categories as well as general LED strip categories. Buyers should still confirm that the overall project environment matches the IP requirements of the full installation.

What warranty is offered on this LED strip family?

The listed warranty period for this parent family is 2 years. That warranty applies consistently across the child variants provided. The family is also described with a 50,000-hour lifetime figure for expected product longevity.
