PWM-90-24DA is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 3.75A, rated power 90W, typical efficiency 90.5%.

PWM-90 series is a 90W LED AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant voltage mode with PWM style output, which is able to maintain the brightness homogeneity when driving all kinds of LED strips.PWM-90 operates from 90~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 48V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for dry, damp or wet locations. PWM-90 is equipped with dimming function that varies the duty cycle of the output, providing great flexibility for LED strips applications.

Test conditions and notes8

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
3. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
4. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again.
5. This series meets the typical life expectancy of >50,000 hours of operation when Tcase, particularly tc point (or TMP, per DLC), is about 75℃ or less.

Can the PWM-90-24DA be integrated into a building automation system using DALI?

Yes. The PWM-90-24DA has a built-in DALI interface and can receive dimming and on/off commands from any DALI-compliant building management system. It can be addressed individually or as part of a DALI group within a larger installation.

Is the PWM-90-24DA rated for outdoor use in wet environments?

Yes. The IP67 rating confirms full protection against dust and resistance to temporary water immersion. This makes it appropriate for outdoor architectural lighting, wet-location signage, and other exposed installations where the driver is not permanently submerged.

How much 24V LED strip can the PWM-90-24DA support?

The driver outputs 90W at 24V (3.75A maximum). A 24V strip rated at 9W per meter would allow up to 10 meters (90W ÷ 9W/m = 10m). For continuous operation, derate to 80% — approximately 8 meters at that strip density. Confirm your specific strip's rated wattage per meter.

Can I use the PWM-90-24DA for 24V LED strip lighting in a hotel corridor dimming system?

Yes. The DALI interface allows precise, addressable dimming suitable for hospitality environments where scene control and zoned dimming are required. At 90W and 24V, it can drive multiple sections of corridor LED strip within a single zone.

Will the PWM-90-24DA operate correctly in extreme temperature environments?

Yes. Its specified operating range is -40°C to +85°C, covering both very cold and high-ambient-temperature environments such as outdoor installations in extreme climates or equipment rooms with limited cooling.
