ELG-75-24DA-3Y is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 3.15A, typical efficiency 88%. Type DA + 3Y: DALI control technology (IP67).

ELG-75 series is a 75W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. ELG-75 operates from 100~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 48V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-75 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system

Test conditions and notes11

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. How does the ELG-75-24DA-3Y differ from the ELG-75-24DA?

Both models are 75.6W, 24V, 3.15A DALI-dimmable drivers. The '3Y' variant has a 3-wire AC input cable (line, neutral and protective earth, SJOW 17AWGx3C), and the datasheet asks for the case to be connected to PE for complete EMC performance and safe use; the core electrical performance is the same.

Can the ELG-75-24DA-3Y be used for outdoor DALI-controlled landscape lighting?

Yes. With the series' IP65/IP67 rating and a case-temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, the ELG-75-24DA-3Y can be installed in outdoor enclosures for landscape or pathway lighting that is managed by a DALI controller.

What run length of 24V LED strip is supported by the ELG-75-24DA-3Y?

The driver provides 75.6W at 24V on 200–305VAC input (60W on 100–180VAC). For a 10W/m strip, the maximum run is 7.5 meters; for a 14.4W/m strip, it is approximately 5.2 meters. Check your strip's rated power consumption per meter to confirm total load does not exceed the rated power.

Is the ELG-75-24DA-3Y appropriate for hospitality or hotel lobby lighting with DALI automation?

Yes. DALI is widely used in hotel and hospitality lighting controls for scene-setting and energy management. The ELG-75-24DA-3Y supports DALI dimming commands, making it directly compatible with lobby or corridor lighting zones controlled by a DALI bus.

Can the ELG-75-24DA-3Y power 24V LED cove lighting in a commercial interior?

Yes. Cove lighting installations using 24V LED strips or modules are a suitable load for this driver. At 75.6W it can support approximately 5 to 7 meters of typical cove strip, and the DALI interface allows dimming to be integrated into the building's lighting management system.

Does the ELG-75-24DA-3Y accept 277V input as found on US commercial circuits?

Yes. The 100–305VAC universal input range includes 277V single-phase, so the driver installs directly on US commercial branch circuits without modification. Rated power is 75.6W on 200–305VAC and 60W on 100–180VAC.
