HLG-150H-48 is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 3.2A, rated power 153.6W, typical efficiency 94%.

HLG-150H series is a 150W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-150H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-150H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Can I use the HLG-150H-48 to power 48V LED street lights?

Yes. The HLG-150H-48 delivers 153.6W at 48V with up to 3.2A in constant-current mode, suitable for 48V LED street light fixtures. Its IP67 waterproof rating and -40°C to +90°C case-temperature (Tcase) range allow reliable operation in fully exposed outdoor pole-mounted installations.

Is the HLG-150H-48 a good fit for 48V LED high-bay industrial lighting?

Yes. With 153.6W at 48V output, it can drive 48V high-bay LED fixtures used in warehouses, factories, and distribution centers. The fanless metal housing is cooled by free air convection (derate the load at high temperatures per the datasheet curve), and the wide 90-305VAC input handles varying industrial power supplies.

Can the HLG-150H-48 power 48V LED modules in outdoor signage?

Yes. At 153.6W and 48V, it can drive 48V LED channel letters, cabinet signs, or light-box modules. The 48V output reduces current draw compared to lower-voltage alternatives, allowing longer wire runs with less voltage drop — a practical advantage for large sign installations.

How many meters of 48V LED strip can the HLG-150H-48 power?

Divide the 153.6W rated power by your strip's power consumption per meter. For example, a 48V strip rated at 10W/m could run about 15.3 meters (153.6W / 10W per meter). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 153.6W.

Can the HLG-150H-48 be mounted outdoors without a separate enclosure?

Yes. Its IP67 waterproof rating means the unit is sealed against dust and protected against temporary water immersion. It can be mounted directly on outdoor walls, poles, or structures, even in heavy rain or snow; make the wiring connections with waterproof connectors or a cable joiner as shown on the datasheet.

What are the differences between the HLG-150H-48, 48A, 48AB, and 48B models?

All four share the same 153.6W / 48V / 3.2A core specs. The base HLG-150H-48 has no output adjustment and is IP67 waterproof. The -48A adds output voltage/current adjustment via built-in potentiometer and is IP65. The -48AB adds both adjustment and 1-10V/PWM dimming input (IP65). The -48B adds dimming input only and retains IP67.
