HLG-150H-12 is the 12V output model of this series: rated current 12.5A, rated power 150W, typical efficiency 91.5%.

HLG-150H series is a 150W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-150H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-150H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Can I use the HLG-150H-12 to power 12V LED strip lighting in an outdoor sign?

Yes. The HLG-150H-12 delivers 12V at up to 12.5A (150W) and has an IP67 waterproof rating, so it can be mounted inside outdoor sign cabinets or other exposed enclosures. The fanless metal housing and -40°C to +90°C case-temperature (Tcase) range also handle harsh weather conditions.

Is the HLG-150H-12 suitable for powering 12V LED facade or building accent lighting?

It is a strong fit for facade and building accent lighting using 12V LED strips or modules. With 150W of output and IP67 waterproof protection, the driver can be installed in exposed outdoor locations close to the LED fixtures. The wide 90-305VAC input accepts mains supplies worldwide.

Can I run 12V LED under-cabinet lighting from the HLG-150H-12?

Yes, as long as the total LED load stays at or below 150W. The HLG-150H-12 provides 12V at up to 12.5A, which is ample for most residential or commercial under-cabinet LED strip runs. Its compact 228 x 68 x 38.8 mm size allows it to be concealed above cabinetry.

How many meters of 12V LED strip can the HLG-150H-12 power?

That depends on your strip's rated wattage per meter. The HLG-150H-12 provides 150W at 12V. For example, a strip drawing 14.4W/m would allow approximately 10.4 meters (150W / 14.4W per meter). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 150W.

Can the HLG-150H-12 handle full outdoor exposure including rain and temporary submersion?

Yes. The IP67 rating means the HLG-150H-12 is protected against dust ingress and can withstand temporary immersion in water. Combined with the sealed metal housing and -40°C to +90°C case-temperature (Tcase) range, it is built for fully exposed outdoor installations.

What are the differences between the HLG-150H-12, 12A, 12AB, and 12B variants?

All four share the same 150W, 12V, 12.5A core output. The base HLG-150H-12 has fixed output and IP67 waterproof rating. The -12A adds adjustable output via potentiometer but uses an IP65 water-resistant rating. The -12AB offers both adjustable output and dimming at IP65. The -12B provides dimming without adjustable output and retains IP67 waterproof protection.
