  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  3. 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  4. 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
  5. 5. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again.   6. 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply may lead to increase of the set up time.

What LED lighting is the LPV-35-12 suited for at 12V?

The LPV-35-12 outputs 12V DC at up to 3A (36W total), making it suitable for short to medium runs of 12V LED strip, under-cabinet lighting, small display case lighting, and compact 12V LED signage. Total connected LED load must not exceed 36W.

How much 12V LED strip can the LPV-35-12 power?

With a maximum output of 36W at 12V, the supportable strip length depends on the strip's power per meter rating. At 7.2W/m, for example, the driver supports up to 5 m. Check your strip's rated watts per meter and stay within the 36W limit, applying a safety margin for reliability.

Is the LPV-35-12 suitable for outdoor installations?

Yes. The IP67 rating means the unit is fully sealed against dust and can withstand temporary water immersion (avoid immersion over 30 minutes). The operating temperature range is -30°C to +65°C with derating at higher temperatures; outdoors it should be installed out of direct sunlight, for example for exterior signage and facade lighting.

What mains voltages does the LPV-35-12 accept?

The input range is 90–264VAC, covering 110V/120V North American mains and 220V/230V European mains with no adjustment required. It accepts any supply voltage within that range without modification.
