Test conditions and notes13
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
- 5. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. (as available on https://www.meanwell.com//Upload/PDF/EMI_statement_en.pdf)
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. LPV-35-5 can provide 6A of output current continuously. Based on the requirement of UL1310 class 2, the output current is only certified up to 5A for the test report of LPV-35-5.
- 8. Suitable for indoor use or outdoor use without direct sunlight exposure. Please avoid immerse in the water over 30 minute.
- 9. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

What LED strip lengths can the LPV-35-24 support?
The LPV-35-24 supplies up to 36W at 24V. Divide 36W by your strip's rated wattage per metre to get the maximum run length — for instance, a 12 W/m strip allows up to 3 metres (36 ÷ 12 = 3 m). Always verify your strip's rated power per metre before finalising the design.
Is the LPV-35-24 approved for use in wet or outdoor locations?
The LPV-35-24 holds an IP67 rating, which covers complete dust-tightness and short-term water immersion (avoid immersion over 30 minutes). It is rated for operation from -30°C to +65°C with derating, and is suitable for indoor use or outdoor use without direct sunlight, such as signage under covered canopies. The sheet lists no separate wet-location approval, and it is not intended for LED luminaires in the EU and China.
Can the LPV-35-24 accept both 110V and 230V mains input?
Yes. The universal input range of 90–264VAC means the unit works on both North American 120V and European 230V supplies without any manual switching. This simplifies global procurement and stocking.
