ELG-75-C700A is the model of this series: rated current 700mA, typical efficiency 91%.

ELG-75-C series is a 75W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant current mode and high voltage output. ELG-75-C operates from 100~305VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 350mA and 1400mA. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃~+85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-75-C is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
3. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
4. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
5. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the ELG-75-C700A to power adjustable-brightness LED downlights in an office retrofit?

Yes. The ELG-75-C700A has an output current adjustment via its built-in potentiometer, allowing the light level to be trimmed between 350mA and 700mA. It delivers 700mA constant current at up to 74.9W, which covers most single- or multi-LED downlight modules.

Is the ELG-75-C700A suitable for driving LEDs in a semi-sheltered outdoor fixture?

Yes, with some caveats. The ELG-75-C700A carries an IP65 water-resistant rating, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets but not prolonged immersion. It is appropriate for rain-exposed but non-submerged outdoor enclosures, and its working case temperature (Tcase) range of -40°C to +85°C covers typical outdoor temperature extremes.

Can the ELG-75-C700A drive an LED module string in a retail display case?

Can I dim the ELG-75-C700A to reduce brightness in an architectural lighting scene?

The ELG-75-C700A's built-in potentiometer allows the output current to be set between 350mA and the nominal 700mA. This is a fixed current-trim function rather than a dimming input; for 0–10V, 10V PWM or resistance dimming, the ELG-75-C700B or ELG-75-C700AB should be considered instead.

How does the ELG-75-C700A compare to the ELG-75-C700 and ELG-75-C700B?

All three are 74.9W, 700mA constant current drivers with the same CC voltage range of 53–107V. The ELG-75-C700 is the fixed-output base model with IP67.
