ELG-75-C500AB is the model of this series: rated current 500mA, typical efficiency 91%.

ELG-75-C series is a 75W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant current mode and high voltage output. ELG-75-C operates from 100~305VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 350mA and 1400mA. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃~+85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-75-C is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes11

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
3. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
4. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
5. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can the ELG-75-C500AB power LED downlights in a building with a 0–10V lighting control system?

Yes. The AB-suffix combines output current adjustment with three-in-one dimming, which includes 0–10V, 10V PWM, and resistance interfaces. This makes it compatible with standard 0–10V dimming systems used in commercial downlight retrofits. Output current is 500mA with a CC voltage range of 75–150V.

Is the ELG-75-C500AB suitable for outdoor LED signage requiring dimming control?

The ELG-75-C500AB is rated IP65 water-resistant, suitable for outdoor signage cabinets protected from direct rain but not submersion. Its -40°C to +85°C working case temperature (Tcase) range and 100–305VAC input cover most outdoor signage environments worldwide. The built-in dimming interface enables schedule-based brightness control for signage.

Can this driver be used in a small LED array for a refrigerated display case?

Yes. With a minimum working case temperature of -40°C and an IP65 rating, the ELG-75-C500AB is appropriate for refrigerated display lighting. Note that the working humidity rating is 20–95% RH non-condensing.
