  1. 1. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  2. 2. Direct connecting to LEDs is suggested, but is not suitable for using additional drivers.
  3. 3. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED power supply can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
  4. 4. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Can I use the PCD-40-1750B for a high-current LED downlight?

Yes, when the downlight is built for 1750mA constant current and its LED load falls within the 13-23V constant current range. This model is intended for constant current LED operation, not constant voltage fixtures. Its rated output power is 40.25W.

Is the PCD-40-1750B suitable for low-voltage signage LED assemblies that need more current?

It can be suitable where the signage LED assembly is a constant current load requiring 1750mA and operating from 13V to 23V. That makes it a higher-current option within the 40W class for lower-voltage LED assemblies. It should not be used in place of a constant voltage power supply.

Can this driver power a compact small LED array with a short forward-voltage stack?

Yes, that is the type of load this model fits when the array needs 1750mA constant current and has a total forward voltage within 13-23V.
