  1. 1. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  2. 2. Direct connecting to LEDs is suggested, but is not suitable for using additional drivers.
  3. 3. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED power supply can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
  4. 4. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Can I use the PCD-40-1050B for a dimmable LED downlight that needs 1050mA constant current?

Yes, this model is a constant current LED driver rated for 1050mA with a 22-38V constant current output range. It is suited to LED downlights that are designed for constant current operation within that voltage window, not constant voltage fixtures. It is also TRIAC dimmable, which is relevant when the downlight uses TRIAC dimming.

Is the PCD-40-1050B suitable for powering signage LED modules?

It can be suitable for signage LED modules only when the module set is designed for constant current operation at 1050mA and falls within the 22-38V output range. This is not a constant voltage driver, so it should not be matched to signage products that expect a fixed constant voltage supply. Its 39.9W rating is intended for constant current LED loads within its specified range.
