ELG-200-C2100A is the model of this series: rated current 2100mA, typical efficiency 92%.

ELG-200-C series is a 200W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant current mode and high voltage output. ELG-200-C operates from 100~305VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 700mA and 2100mA. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃~+85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-200-C is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

3. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
4. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply may lead to increase of the set up time.
5. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can the ELG-200-C2100A drive LED arrays in retail display lighting where output current adjustment is needed?

Yes. The A suffix indicates this model includes a built-in output adjustment potentiometer, allowing the constant current output to be trimmed from its nominal 2100mA down to 1050mA to suit different LED array configurations. This flexibility is useful in retail display or hospitality lighting where fine-tuning luminaire brightness is required.

Is the ELG-200-C2100A suitable for semi-outdoor installations such as covered walkways or building facades?

The ELG-200-C2100A carries an IP65 water-resistant rating, which protects against low-pressure water jets from any direction and complete dust exclusion. This is appropriate for covered walkways, facade-mounted luminaires, or any installation where direct rain contact is unlikely but moisture exposure is possible.

Can this driver power LED downlights in a hotel or commercial interior where scene control is important?

It can power the downlights, but the A-type has no dimming input, so it cannot follow scene-control commands; its potentiometer only sets a fixed current (1050–2100mA) during commissioning. For scene control, choose the B, AB or DA type. It outputs 201.6W at 2100mA with a CC voltage range of 48–96V.

How many LEDs can be connected to the ELG-200-C2100A in a series string?

The CC output voltage range of the ELG-200-C2100A is 48–96V. The maximum number of LEDs in series depends on the forward voltage of each LED; the combined string forward voltage must fall between 48V and 96V. The driver will then regulate the string current at up to 2100mA.

Does the IP65 rating of the ELG-200-C2100A differ significantly from the IP67 versions in this series?

IP65 provides complete dust protection and resistance to low-pressure water jets, but does not qualify for temporary water immersion. IP67-rated variants in this series add protection against temporary immersion. For fully outdoor exposure, the IP67 models are more appropriate; IP65 suits protected indoor or semi-outdoor installations.

Can the ELG-200-C2100A be used for LED signage modules on an illuminated building directory?

Yes. With 201.6W of constant current output and a 48–96V operating range, this driver can power LED module strings used in illuminated directories and architectural signage. The adjustable output is useful for calibrating brightness uniformity across the sign face.
