Yes. At 240W and 24V the driver can deliver up to 10A, making it suitable for extended LED strip runs in retail, hospitality, or office cove lighting. The IP67 waterproof rating also allows installation in damp or outdoor locations where 24V strip is common.
How many meters of 24V LED strip can the ELG-240-24 power?
The ELG-240-24 outputs 240W at 24V. For a 24V strip rated at 14.4W per meter: 240W ÷ 14.4W/m ≈ 16.7m at full load. Derate to 80% for continuous runs, giving approximately 13 meters. Check your strip's rated power per meter and apply the same calculation for your specific product.
Is the ELG-240-24 suitable for outdoor landscape or architectural lighting?
Yes. The IP67 waterproof rating means the unit is fully sealed against water ingress, allowing it to be mounted in outdoor junction boxes, underground enclosures, or exposed weatherproof fixtures. The -40°C to +90°C operating range covers virtually all outdoor climate conditions.
Can the ELG-240-24 be used to drive 24V LED wall-wash fixtures in a facade lighting project?
