HLG-240H-24C is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 10A, rated power 240W, typical efficiency 92.5%. Type C: Terminal block for I/O connection. Output voltage and constant current level can be adjusted through internal potentiometer.

HLG-240H series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-240H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-240H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.

Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the HLG-240H-24C to power 24V LED strip installations indoors?

Yes. The HLG-240H-24C provides 240W at 24V (10A), which is ample for extensive 24V LED strip runs in commercial or residential interiors. Note that the C-type uses AC input and DC output terminal blocks and has a built-in potentiometer for output voltage and current adjustment.

Is the HLG-240H-24C a good fit for 24V LED retail display or cabinet lighting?

Yes. At 240W and 24V, it can power a significant amount of display case, shelf, or cabinet LED lighting. The wide 90-305VAC input handles various commercial mains supplies, and its fanless metal housing cools by free air convection.

Can the HLG-240H-24C drive 24V LED panels for commercial office lighting?

Yes. The 240W output at 24V is sufficient for multiple LED panel fixtures. Its constant-current operation across a 12-24V CC region ensures stable drive for panels that require a regulated current source. It is rated for a -40°C to +90°C case temperature, with output derating at high temperatures.

How many meters of 24V LED strip can the HLG-240H-24C support?

Divide 240W by your strip's wattage per meter. For example, a strip drawing 19.2W/m would allow about 12.5 meters (240W / 19.2W per meter = 12.5m). Always verify your strip's rated power per meter and keep total consumption at or below 240W.

Does the HLG-240H-24C need to be installed in a dry location?

The sheet lists IP65 or IP67 ingress protection for the HLG-240H series, and the series is intended for both indoor and outdoor use. The C-type connects through terminal blocks rather than fixed cables, so follow the waterproof installation cautions in MEAN WELL's user manual. Its case temperature range is -40°C to +90°C.

How does the HLG-240H-24C differ from the HLG-240H-24 and HLG-240H-24B?

All three deliver 240W at 24V / 10A. The base HLG-240H-24 has fixed output with IP67 waterproof rating. The -24B adds a dimming input while retaining IP67. The -24C adds potentiometer voltage/current adjustment, uses AC/DC terminal blocks, and has a longer 251 mm case; some approvals (e.g. EN 61347-2-13 independent, GB/T 19510, J61347, KC) exclude the C-type.
