Overview

HVG-65-42B is the 42V output model of this series: rated current 1.55A, rated power 65.1W, typical efficiency 89.5%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (0~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).

HVG-65 series is a 65W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HVG-65 operates from 180~528 VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HVG-65 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes12

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 347VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Can I use the HVG-65-42B for outdoor 42V LED strip or linear lighting?

Yes, if the load is a 42V constant-current product operating within the 25.2-42V CC range. The HVG-65 series is IP65 or IP67 approved, and this driver can supply up to 1.55A with a maximum output power of 65.1W.

Is this driver suitable for dimmable illuminated signage in wet locations?

It can be used for dimmable signage loads when the LEDs require 42V constant current and stay within 65.1W. The series' IP65/IP67 approval and waterproof output connector option support wet outdoor environments.
