  1. 1. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  2. 2. Direct connecting to LEDs is suggested, but is not suitable for using additional drivers.
  3. 3. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED power supply can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
  4. 4. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Yes, it is designed for constant current LED loads at 1400mA. It matches downlights whose total forward voltage falls inside the 17-29V CC range and whose total load stays within 40.6W.

Is the PLD-40-1400B a fit for compact COB arrays?

It can be used with compact COB or small LED arrays that require 1400mA constant current drive. The LED load must have a combined forward voltage between 17V and 29V, and it is not intended for constant voltage products.
