ELG-240-36DA is the 36V output model of this series: rated current 6.66A, typical efficiency 92%.

ELG-240 series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. ELG-240 operates from 100～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 24V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-240 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system

Test conditions and notes14

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. No load/standby power consumption is specified for 230VAC input.
8. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Is the ELG-240-36DA rated for outdoor or wet-location use?

Yes. The ELG-240 series carries an IP65 or IP67 rating, making it dust-tight and water-resistant. It is suitable for outdoor or wet-area installations where rain exposure is a concern; note that the working humidity is specified as 20–95% RH non-condensing.

How many meters of 36V LED strip can the ELG-240-36DA support?

The ELG-240-36DA outputs 239.76W at 36V on 200–305VAC input (180W on 100–180VAC). Dividing the rating by your strip's rated watts per meter gives the maximum run length — for a 10 W/m strip that is approximately 24 meters (18 m at 180W). Verify your strip's rated power per meter; leaving about 20% headroom is a sensible margin.

Can the ELG-240-36DA integrate with a DALI building automation system?
