HEP-240-12 is the 12V output model of this series: rated current 16A, rated power 192W, typical efficiency 90%.

HEP-240 is a 240W industrial AC/DC power supply featuring the outstanding capability to operate under a harsh environment with high dust density, humidity, vibration and altitude. The entire series is housed with a robust aluminum case and fully potted with heat-conducted silicone. Thanks to state-of-the-art design, the working efficiency is up to 93.5%, enabling HEP-240, with a fanless design, perfectly work between -55℃ and +70℃ under free air convection.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  3. 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  4. 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltages. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
  5. 5. A-Type only.
  6. 6. Length of set up time is measured at cold first start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply may lead to increase of the set up time.

Yes, this model delivers 12V constant-voltage output at up to 16A and 192W, which suits 12V industrial control hardware designed for that power range. It is appropriate when the equipment requires a 12V DC bus rather than 24V or 48V.

Is the HEP-240-12 suitable for embedded systems or low-voltage automation devices?
