Overview

HLG-150H-54A is the 54V output model of this series: rated current 2.8A, rated power 151.2W, typical efficiency 94%. Type A: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer (IP65).

HLG-150H series is a 150W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-150H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-150H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  3. 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-150H-54A to fine-tune output for 54V LED high-bay fixtures?

Yes. The HLG-150H-54A has a built-in potentiometer that lets you adjust output voltage and current. This is useful when your 54V high-bay fixtures need a slightly lower drive level or when matching the driver precisely to the LED module's optimal forward voltage within the 27-54V CC range.

Is the HLG-150H-54A a good choice for 54V LED floodlights in a covered parking structure?

Yes. At 151.2W and 54V with IP65 water-resistant protection, the HLG-150H-54A handles dust and low-pressure water jets typical of covered parking garages or canopied areas. The adjustable output lets you dial in the exact brightness level for the floodlights.

Can the HLG-150H-54A power series-connected 54V LED COB arrays?

Yes. The HLG-150H-54A provides up to 2.8A at 54V in constant-current mode, which is ideal for series-connected COB LED arrays. The built-in potentiometer allows you to trim the current to match the COB manufacturer's recommended drive level.

How many 54V LED modules can I connect to the HLG-150H-54A?

The total combined wattage must not exceed the 151.2W rating. For example, if each module draws 30W at 54V, you could parallel up to five modules (5 × 30W = 150W). Always check each module's rated power consumption and keep the total at or below the driver's 151.2W capacity.

Can the HLG-150H-54A be used in a damp equipment room or semi-enclosed outdoor cabinet?

Yes. IP65 protects against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, which is more than adequate for damp equipment rooms, ventilated outdoor cabinets, or covered canopy installations. For direct rain or standing-water exposure, consider the IP67-rated HLG-150H-54 instead.
