HLG-60H-48A is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 1.3A, rated power 62.4W, typical efficiency 90.5%.

HLG-60H series is a 60W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-60H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 15V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-60H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.

Divide the 62.4W rating by your strip's rated power per meter. For example, a 48V strip rated at 8W/m gives you about 7.8 meters (62.4W / 8W per meter). A higher-power strip at 15W/m allows about 4.1 meters. Always check your strip's datasheet and keep total draw at or below 62.4W.

Can the HLG-60H-48A be mounted in a covered outdoor location like a carport?

Yes. Its IP65 water-resistant rating protects against dust and low-pressure water jets, making it appropriate for covered outdoor areas such as carports, eaves, or equipment enclosures. For locations with direct rain exposure, the IP67-rated HLG-60H-48 or HLG-60H-48B would be more appropriate.
