Overview

LPF-60-24 is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 2.5A, rated power 60W, typical efficiency 89%.

LPF-60 series is a 60W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual modes constant voltage and constant current output. LPF-60 operates from 90~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations.

Test conditions and notes12

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. 8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.

Can I use the LPF-60-24 with a 24V LED strip lighting product?

Yes, if the 24V lighting product stays within 60W and 2.5A. This driver supplies 24V constant voltage for CV strips and also has a 14.4-24V constant current region, so either type of load can be used within those limits.

Is the LPF-60-24 a fit for 24V sign lighting exposed to weather?

It can be a fit for 24V sign lighting when the connected modules are 24V constant voltage or 14.4-24V constant current types and the total load does not exceed 60W or 2.5A. The IP67 rating is appropriate for outdoor and wet-location use where the driver may see rain or splashing water.

Can this driver be used for 24V architectural or facade lighting?

Yes, it can be used for 24V architectural lighting if the fixture or light engine is specified for 24V constant voltage or constant current input within the 14.4-24V range. Its Tcase working range of -40°C to +80°C (with load derating at higher temperatures) also supports demanding indoor or outdoor site conditions.

Would this work for a sealed lighting enclosure in a damp area?

This model is designed for damp and wet environments because it carries an IP67 waterproof rating. Its IP67-rated body can also be useful where a sealed driver is preferred inside a protected enclosure.

How do I estimate the maximum 24V LED strip length for this driver?

The driver can supply up to 60W total at 24V, with a maximum output current of 2.5A. For strip length, use 60W / strip watts per meter; for example, if a strip is rated in W/m, divide 60W by that number, and check your strip rated power per meter before sizing.
