  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  3. 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  4. 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details. Please connect L line to the positive pole and N line to the negative pole under DC input.

What types of LED lighting can the APV-16-15 drive at 15V?

The APV-16-15 outputs 15V at 1A for a maximum of 15W. It is suited to 15V LED strip, 15V LED module arrays, and small decorative signage panels with 15V nominal voltage. Verify your LED product's rated voltage is 15V and that the total load stays within 15W.

How long a 15V LED strip run can the APV-16-15 support?

The APV-16-15 provides 15W at 15V. Dividing 15W by your strip's rated power per meter gives the maximum length β€” at 5 W/m, for example, that is 3 m. Check your strip's rated power per meter and design to about 80% of the driver's rated output for long-term reliability.

Can the APV-16-15 be mounted inside a semi-outdoor enclosure?

The APV-16-15 has an IP42 ingress protection rating, meaning it resists solid particles larger than 1 mm and limited dripping water. It is not rated for direct outdoor exposure or splash conditions. For semi-outdoor or protected outdoor applications, use this driver inside a sealed IP-rated enclosure or select a driver with IP65 or higher protection.
