Overview

HLG-60H-36 is the 36V output model of this series: rated current 1.7A, rated power 61.2W, typical efficiency 90%. Type Blank: Io and Vo fixed (IP67).

HLG-60H series is a 60W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-60H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 15V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-60H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Can I use the HLG-60H-36 to power 36V LED strip lighting in an outdoor setting?

Yes. The HLG-60H-36 provides 61.2W at 36V and carries an IP67 waterproof rating, so it handles rain, snow, and temporary water exposure. It works well for outdoor 36V LED strip runs on building facades, pergolas, or other exposed locations.

Is the HLG-60H-36 a good option for powering 36V LED modules in a small illuminated sign?

Yes, provided the sign draws no more than 61.2W total at 36V. The HLG-60H-36 operates in constant-current mode with a CC range of 21.6-36V, so it can handle LED modules that run anywhere in that voltage window. The IP67 rating suits exterior-mounted signage exposed to weather.

Can I use the HLG-60H-36 for 36V LED high-bay or low-bay lighting in a warehouse?

Yes. At 61.2W it can drive a single 36V LED fixture or small cluster within its power budget. The -40 to +80 degree Celsius case temperature (Tcase) range covers typical warehouse temperatures, and the IP67 rating protects against dust and moisture in industrial environments.

How many meters of 36V LED strip can the HLG-60H-36 power?

Divide the 61.2W rating by your strip's rated power per meter. A 36V strip drawing 10W/m allows about 6 meters (61.2W / 10W per meter). A denser strip at 20W/m allows about 3 meters. Always verify your strip's actual rated power per meter and stay at or below the 61.2W maximum.

Is the HLG-60H-36 suitable for installation in a coastal environment with salt spray?

Its IP67 rating protects against water and dust, but the datasheet makes no corrosion or salt-spray claim for the metal housing, and prolonged direct salt spray exposure can degrade any metal housing over time. Mounting inside a ventilated weatherproof enclosure is recommended for coastal installations to extend service life.

What are the differences between the HLG-60H-36, 36A, 36AB, and 36B models?

All four share the same 61.2W / 36V / 1.7A core specs with a CC range of 21.6-36V. The base HLG-60H-36 has fixed output and IP67 waterproofing. The -36A adds output voltage/current adjustment via potentiometer (IP65). The -36AB adds both adjustment and 1-10V/PWM dimming (IP65). The -36B provides dimming only and retains IP67.
