LPF-60D-24 is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 2.5A, rated power 60W, typical efficiency 89%.

LPF-60D series is a 60W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant current output. LPF-60D operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations. LPF-60D is equipped with the 3 in 1 dimming function so as to provide the design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
  3. 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  4. 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  5. 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
  6. 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
  7. 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the LPF-60D-24 for 24V architectural LED strip or linear lighting?

It can be used for 24V LED strip or linear lighting only if the load is specified for constant current operation and fits the driver's 14.4-24V constant current range at 2.5A. Many 24V strips are constant voltage products, so check the strip or fixture specification before pairing it with this driver.

Is this driver suitable for outdoor 24V sign or cabinet lighting?

Yes, the IP67 housing makes it suitable for wet or outdoor lighting applications where a 24V constant current load is required. It also has a working case temperature (Tcase) range of -40°C to +80°C, with load derating at higher temperatures.

Can the LPF-60D-24 run a 24V constant current LED fixture for building accents or landscape lighting?

It is suitable for constant current 24V LED fixtures that need up to 60W and 2.5A, provided the fixture operates within 14.4-24V. The IP67 enclosure also makes it a practical choice for exposed lighting locations.

How much 24V LED strip can this driver support?

Its maximum output is 60W, which also matches 24V × 2.5A = 60W. To estimate strip length, divide 60W by your strip's rated watts per meter, and check your strip rated power per meter as well as whether it is designed for constant current operation.
