Test conditions and notes12

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
5. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. What LED strip voltage does the LPV-100-24 support?

The LPV-100-24 provides a constant 24V DC output, making it directly compatible with 24V LED strip lights, 24V LED panel systems, and 24V architectural lighting fixtures. It cannot be used to power 12V strips without an additional regulator.

How long a run of 24V LED strip can the LPV-100-24 drive?

The LPV-100-24 outputs 100.8W at 24V. Divide 100.8W by your strip's wattage per meter — a common 24V strip at 9.6 W/m allows up to about 10.5 meters, and a 14.4 W/m high-output strip allows roughly 7 meters. Confirm the rated power per meter for your specific strip before committing to a run length.

Is the LPV-100-24 suitable for outdoor signage applications?

Yes. It is fully encapsulated to IP67, providing full dust ingress protection and resistance to temporary water immersion, and Mean Well rates it for indoor use or outdoor use without direct sunlight exposure, making it appropriate for covered outdoor channel-letter signs, building facade lighting, and exterior display cases running 24V LED modules.

Does the LPV-100-24 work on 277V commercial mains?

No. The LPV-100-24 accepts 90–264 VAC. A 277V single-phase commercial supply exceeds that range; for 277V applications you would need a different model rated for that input.
