Test conditions and notes12

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
5. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. What kinds of LED products typically require 36V DC?

Some high-efficiency LED strips, longer-run linear lighting systems, and certain industrial LED luminaires are designed for 36V operation to reduce resistive losses on extended runs. The LPV-100-36 is a constant-voltage 36V driver suited to those loads at up to 100.8W.

How many meters of 36V LED strip can the LPV-100-36 power?

The LPV-100-36 delivers 100.8W at 36V. For a 36V strip rated at 10 W/m, that allows roughly 10 meters; at 12 W/m, approximately 8.4 meters. Verify the exact rated power per meter for your strip before finalising the length.

Can the LPV-100-36 be installed in a weatherproof outdoor enclosure or open-air location?

Yes, within limits. The unit is fully encapsulated to IP67 (dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion), and Mean Well rates it for indoor use or outdoor use without direct sunlight exposure, so it can be mounted in covered outdoor enclosures, exterior sign boxes, or shaded open-air fixtures. Follow the waterproof installation cautions in Mean Well's user manual.

What certifications does the LPV-100-36 carry?
