  1. 1. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  2. 2. Direct connecting to LEDs is suggested, but is not suitable for using additional drivers.
  3. 3. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED power supply can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
  4. 4. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Can I use the PCD-25-1400A for 1400mA LED downlights?

Yes, if the downlight is specified for constant current at 1400mA and the total LED forward-voltage load stays within 12-18V. The driver is rated for 25.2W, so the fixture load also needs to stay within that power limit.

Is the PCD-25-1400A suitable for signage modules that need higher current?

It can be suitable for signage modules when the module assembly requires 1400mA constant current and operates within the 12-18V constant-current range. Because this is a constant-current model, it is not the same thing as a constant-voltage LED power supply.

Can this driver run a compact small LED array?

Yes, if the small LED array is designed for 1400mA constant current and its total forward voltage falls between 12V and 18V. The exact number of LEDs depends on the forward voltage of each LED, not on a fixed LED count.

How do I check if my LEDs are compatible with the PCD-25-1400A?

Confirm that the LEDs need 1400mA constant current and that the total forward-voltage requirement stays inside the 12-18V constant-current range. The overall load also needs to remain within the 25.2W rating.
