  1. 1. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  2. 2. Direct connecting to LEDs is suggested, but is not suitable for using additional drivers.
  3. 3. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED power supply can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
  4. 4. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Can the PCD-25-700B be used for a constant current LED downlight?

Yes, if the downlight is built for 700mA constant current input and its LED load operates within 24-36V. This driver is rated at 25.2W, so the fixture must also stay within that output power.

Is this driver appropriate for small signage light modules?

It can be appropriate for signage modules that need 700mA constant current and fall within the 24-36V constant current range. It is not meant for constant voltage LED products that expect a fixed DC voltage output.

Can I use the PCD-25-700B with a compact LED array for general lighting?

Yes, for compact LED arrays that require 700mA constant current and have a total forward voltage between 24V and 36V. The load also needs to stay within the driver's 25.2W rating.
