HEP-320-48A is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 6.7A, rated power 321.6W, typical efficiency 94.5%.

HEP-320 is a 320W industrial AC/DC power supply featuring the outstanding capability to operate under a harsh environment with high dust density, humidity, vibration and altitude. The entire series is housed with a robust aluminum case and fully potted with heat-conducted silicone. Thanks to state-of-the-art design, the working efficiency is up to 95%, enabling HEP-320, with a fanless design, perfectly work between -55℃ and +70℃ under free air convection.

Test conditions and notes9

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
4. Derating may be needed under low input voltages. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
5. A-type only.
6. Length of set up time is measured at cold first start. Turning ON/OFF the power supply may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. 8. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Can I use the HEP-320-48A for 48V DC telecom or control equipment?

Yes, this supply delivers constant 48V output up to 6.7A and 321.6W for equipment designed around a 48VDC input. It is appropriate for telecom, control, and industrial electronics that operate within those electrical limits. The 90-264VAC input range (277VAC operational) is also useful where incoming AC supply varies by site.

Is the HEP-320-48A suitable for 48V industrial networking or embedded systems?

It can be used for 48V networking or embedded equipment that requires a regulated constant-voltage source and draws no more than 321.6W or 6.7A. The fanless design helps reduce maintenance in enclosed or dusty environments. Its IP65 rating is intended for harsher service conditions than a standard indoor supply.
