The ELG-150 is a 150W Mean Well power converter. This is the 3Y variant, supplied with a 3-wire input cable (live, neutral and protective earth).

The ELG-150-24-3Y provides 150W at 24V. For a 14.4 W/m high-density strip: 150 ÷ 14.4 ≈ 10.4 m maximum; derated to 80% for continuous operation, approximately 8.3 m. Always verify your strip's rated power per meter.

Is the ELG-150-24-3Y suitable for installation in an outdoor electrical enclosure in a parking structure?

Yes. The IP67 rating handles the moisture and occasional wash-down conditions found in parking structures, and the -40°C to +90°C operating range covers unheated structures in cold climates. The metal enclosure provides additional mechanical protection.

Yes. For covered outdoor retail areas where fixtures may be exposed to rain splash or condensation, the IP67 driver is an appropriate choice. At 150W it can supply a substantial display run of 24V LED strip from a single driver.
