ELG-150-24-3Y is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 6.25A, typical efficiency 89%. Type Blank + 3Y: Io and Vo fixed (IP67).

ELG-150 series is a 150W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. ELG-150 operates from 100~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-150 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system

Test conditions and notes11

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTICS” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.

What distinguishes the ELG-150-24-3Y from the standard ELG-150-24?

The ELG-150-24-3Y uses a 3-conductor input configuration with a separate protective earth conductor, compared to the standard ELG-150-24. Both deliver 150W at 24V with 6.25A output and share the same IP67 rating.

Can I use the ELG-150-24-3Y to drive 24V LED strips in an outdoor garden lighting installation?

Yes. The IP67 rating protects the driver from rain and moisture in garden or landscape installations. The 150W output at 24V is sufficient to supply multiple runs of 24V LED strip distributed across an outdoor garden system.

How many meters of 24V LED strip can the ELG-150-24-3Y power?

The ELG-150-24-3Y provides 150W at 24V. For a 14.4 W/m high-density strip: 150 ÷ 14.4 ≈ 10.4 m maximum; derated to 80% for continuous operation, approximately 8.3 m. Always verify your strip's rated power per meter.

Is the ELG-150-24-3Y suitable for installation in an outdoor electrical enclosure in a parking structure?

Yes. The IP67 rating handles the dust, moisture and rain exposure found in parking structures, and the -40°C to +90°C case temperature (Tcase) range covers unheated structures in cold climates.

Can the ELG-150-24-3Y be used to power 24V LED strips in a covered outdoor retail display area?

Yes. For covered outdoor retail areas where fixtures may be exposed to rain splash, the IP67 driver is an appropriate choice. At 150W it can supply a substantial display run of 24V LED strip from a single driver.

Does the ELG-150-24-3Y work on 277V AC input as used in US commercial installations?

Yes. The input range is 100–305VAC, which includes 277V single-phase supply commonly used in US commercial lighting circuits. No configuration changes are needed.
