ELG-150-36 is the 36V output model of this series: rated current 4.17A, typical efficiency 90%. Type Blank: Io and Vo fixed (IP67).

ELG-150 series is a 150W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. ELG-150 operates from 100~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-150 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system

Test conditions and notes11

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTICS” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Can the ELG-150-36 power 36V LED strips or modules in outdoor signage?

Yes. The ELG-150-36 outputs 36V at 4.17A (150.1W) and is rated IP67 waterproof, making it suitable for outdoor sign cabinets using 36V LED modules or strips. The sealed case and -40°C to +90°C case temperature (Tcase) range support year-round outdoor service.

Is the ELG-150-36 suitable for powering LED retrofit lamps or fixtures in a damp outdoor location?

Yes. The IP67 rating covers exposure to rain and temporary water immersion, so the ELG-150-36 can be housed in outdoor luminaires or weatherproof enclosures in damp or wet locations. Ensure the load operates at 36V and stays within 150.1W.

How much 36V LED strip can the ELG-150-36 support?

The driver delivers up to 150.1W at 36V. For a 14.4 W/m strip, this allows approximately 10.4 m (150.1 ÷ 14.4). For an 18 W/m strip, about 8.3 m (150.1 ÷ 18). Check your strip's rated power per meter to confirm the maximum length before installation.

Can the ELG-150-36 be used for landscape lighting running 36V LED fixtures along a garden path?

Yes. 36V LED path and landscape fixtures are a practical application for the ELG-150-36. Its IP67 protection allows installation in a weatherproof outdoor junction box, and 150.1W is enough to run a series of low-wattage fixtures totaling up to that power.

Does the ELG-150-36 support any built-in dimming control?

No. The base ELG-150-36 (no letter suffix) does not include a dimming interface or an adjustment potentiometer; potentiometer voltage/current adjustment is only on the A/AB types. No external PWM, 0–10V, or DALI dimming signal input is available on this variant.

Can the ELG-150-36 drive 36V LED strips for interior commercial cove or under-cabinet lighting?

Yes. For interior installations such as commercial cove lighting or under-cabinet strips, the ELG-150-36 provides a stable 36V, 4.17A supply sufficient for medium-length strip runs. IP67 is not required indoors but adds robustness against dust and incidental moisture in kitchen or industrial settings.

How does the ELG-150-36 compare to the ELG-150-36A sibling?

Both models are 150.1W, 36V, 4.17A drivers with the same physical dimensions (219 × 63 × 35.5 mm) and operating temperature. The ELG-150-36 is IP67 waterproof with no adjustment or dimming, while the ELG-150-36A is IP65 water-resistant and adds a built-in potentiometer for output voltage (32.4–39.6V) and current (2.1–4.17A) adjustment, without a dimming input. Choose IP67 for fully exposed wet locations; choose the 36A if output adjustment is needed.
