  1. 1. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  2. 2. Direct connecting to LEDs is suggested, but is not suitable for using additional drivers.
  3. 3. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED power supply can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
  4. 4. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Can I use the PLD-16-350B for a 350mA LED downlight?

Yes, if the downlight requires a constant current driver rated at 350mA and its LED load operates within the 24-48V constant current range. This model delivers up to 16.8W, so it is intended for lower-power downlight assemblies within that range. It is a constant current driver, not a constant voltage power supply.

Is the PLD-16-350B suitable for LED signage modules?

It can be suitable for signage modules that are designed to run from a 350mA constant current source and fall within the 24-48V CC output range. It is not the right choice for signage modules that expect a fixed constant voltage supply such as 12V or 24V constant voltage input. The total load also needs to stay within the 16.8W rating.
