Can I use the HLN-80H-15B for dimmable 15V signage lighting?

Yes, this is the 15V, 5A, 75W B version and it is suitable for signage applications when the load matches those ratings. The connected lighting load also needs to operate within the 9-15V constant current range.

Is this model a good fit for 15V LED border or cabinet lighting?

It can be used for 15V border or cabinet lighting when the total connected load stays within 75W and 5A. Because the output range is 9-15V, the lighting product needs to be designed to run in that range.

Can the HLN-80H-15B handle 15V illuminated sign boxes?

It is appropriate for illuminated sign box lighting if the sign load is a 15V load and the total demand does not exceed 75W. The IP64 enclosure also makes it better suited to exposed sign environments than an indoor-only driver.

What LED strip length can I estimate from this 15V 75W driver?

The sizing math is 75W divided by the strip's watts per meter. Check your strip rated power per meter, then make sure the full run stays within 75W total, 5A output current, and the 15V operating requirement.

Can this driver be used outside or in damp areas?

The IP64 rating supports use in outdoor or damp locations where dust and splashing water are expected, but it is not a submersible unit. It is also rated to operate from -40°C to +50°C, which helps in cold or hot installations within that range.
